World Series of HeartsŪ Format
- The format will consist of EIGHT games, or rounds. Teams will draw for their first round table and opponents.
- Each person or Team will have THREE different opponents for each of their EIGHT preliminary games.
- Teams who do not qualify for the Playoffs will be offered the opportunity to enter the optional Consolation Game.
- This will consist of four Rounds (and Finals) with the best Match Point records determining Finals Table players.
- It is expected that all games will be concluded within 75 minutes, and the remaining 15 minutes is "break" time between rounds. In the Playoffs, Teams may always start their next Round earlier if both are available and want to play. Otherwise, each Round must start no later than the posted times.
- Rounds are scheduled for 75 Minutes, and must start within 5 minutes of their scheduled time.
- Any Teams or players who are staying an additional evening at the facility after the awards ceremony - the next day is a legal holiday - will be offered the opportunity to participate in a "Last Chance" Tournament.
