House rules
Terms of use
Use the site, play the games, argue with the guides by mail: the terms are the house rules of a card room, written down at last.
Grand Prix Tournaments provides guides to classic card games as they are published by the desk, as is, with no warranty that your table, your variant or your uncle agrees. The site is editorial: nothing on it is professional, financial or legal advice, and the house rules of your own table always outrank anything printed here, which is precisely what the rules articles themselves recommend.
Playing the games
Card games are played at your own table with your own stakes, which in this house are bragging rights and the last piece of pie. The desk describes tournament formats and scorekeeping for entertainment and organization, and accepts no liability for bags unpaid, bids failed or march points misremembered after midnight. Play fair: the score sheets guide exists so that nobody has to take your word for the tally.
Using the content
Quote freely with a link, print the sheets for your tables, and teach the games; that is what the site is for. Wholesale copying of the guides is another matter and belongs in a conversation first, through the contact page. The commercial frame of the site is stated in the sponsored content policy, the data side in the privacy page, and the desk's editorial promises in the editorial policy. Now deal.
